Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, certify, and deploy applications/modules based on functional and system requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, the Architecture team, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, maintain architectural integrity, and ensure product quality.
- Consistently document throughout the development process.
- Escalate issues that may affect project delivery to the Lead Application Developer.
- Contribute to the team’s ongoing processes, procedures, and best practices.
Education and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or final-year students with no outstanding arrears), preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of any programming language.
- Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
- Problem-Solving: Strong logical reasoning skills and the ability to solve complex problems using algorithms, flowcharts, or programs.
- Database Knowledge: Clear understanding of databases, preferably RDBMS.
- Project Contribution: Active participation in the final-year project with a comprehensive understanding of the overall project.
