BNY Mellon is actively seeking a Software Developer to join their Pune office. This full-time position is tailored for individuals who are fresh graduates or have up to two years of experience in software development.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer at BNY Mellon, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing account reconciliation for assigned deals and cashflows as per agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Minimizing breaks and ensuring there are no ageing breaks.
  • Investigating and resolving breaks to complete daily reconciliations.
  • Liaising with clients and onshore client service teams to resolve any queries.
  • Handling daily tasks with minimal guidance from supervisors.
  • Managing work in a deadline-driven environment, adapting to pressure and changing circumstances.
  • Ensuring daily activities are performed as per pre-defined procedures.
  • Professionally and timely handling inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams through clear and effective communication.
  • Demonstrating effective multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Being flexible with working hours to align with US-facing operations.

Client Relationship Support:

  • Supporting in maintaining client relationships.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of accounts and relevant documents.
  • Ensuring prompt addressing of both internal and external inquiries.
  • Escalating issues and concerns appropriately.

Education and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. An advanced/graduate degree is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of total work experience is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services is preferred.
