Job Description
As a Software Engineer Trainee at Monotype, you will be responsible for automating and testing complex and critical modules of various projects and services that power core engines at Monotype. This role involves implementing best engineering practices, creating and owning components end-to-end, automating tasks, and enhancing performance.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a small scrum team to design and build high-quality customer-facing software.

- Foster an innovative culture within the team.
Education and Skills Required
- Knowledge of developing complex, scalable web-based applications.
- Strong design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Proficiency in JS, MYSQL/MongoDB, and one of React/Vue/Angular, Node.js.
- Understanding of building REST API / GraphQL.
- Familiarity with architecture and design principles across various systems.
