Job Description

Vestas Power Solutions, the R&D function of Vestas, is seeking fresh graduates for the Trainee Engineer role. This department is responsible for designing and developing low voltage control panels and control systems for wind turbines.

Position Details

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions to the Turbine Control Software product portfolio.
• Support the expansion and creation of new products.
• Address issues reported from the field and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem solving for turbines in operation.
• Support the global service technical team in maintaining the turbine fleet.
• Collaborate with the sales organization to address new solution requirements and technology development.
• Develop solutions in collaboration with system leads for specific personal systems in the turbine.

Education and Skills Required

• Educational Qualification: B. Tech / B.E / MTech / ME in CSE, ECE, EEE.
• Development experience with C++.
• Sound knowledge of scripting languages like Python and SQL.
• Experience in control systems using MATLAB Simulink (non-mandatory).
• Understanding of continuous integration solutions with tools like Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite.
