HCL is hiring for the role of Global Trade Compliance Specialist. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with all federal rules and regulations related to HCL’s products and services.

Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the Trade Compliance program for IT and Engineering services customers, including recordkeeping, audits, and classification.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory and international changes, ensuring compliance through various activities.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, controls, and training related to ITAR, Export and Import Control Regulations, Encryption, License Exceptions, Red Flags, and Recordkeeping.
- Create and maintain up-to-date departmental procedures, best practices, and standardize processes across the E&TC team.
Education and Skills
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Preferred fields include Engineering, Law, or International Trade.
- Skills:
- 0-3 years of direct experience in customs and international trade compliance.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to function effectively in a team environment.
